Best Protest Pictures of The Year

In its annual review of the year’s news, Time magazine named “The Protester” as its 2011 person of the year. Much of the Arab world remains in upheaval. A leaderless movement unknown in 2010, Occupy Wall Street led to sit-ins around the world. Harsh austerity measures forced Europeans into the streets. Even in China, civil unrest is brewing. Change is definitely afoot.

Egypt 2011: as we know, the army is controlling the country. Recently, hundreds of protesters occupied Tahrir Square in Cairo to demand justice against the violence.

I was walking around Upper East Side, few days ago, when I saw some protesters in favor of the liberation of Egypt.
